Singapore Thailand Science Immersion Programme 2026

Across five days, the Singapore Thailand Science Immersion Programme (STSIP) is designed to spark intellectual curiosity and enhance scientific knowledge through inspiring lectures by university professors, creative workshops and engaging demonstrations in state-of-the-art laboratories at National University of Singapore!

APPLICATION

For application, please ensure that the following supporting documents are ready for upload:

  • Student’s status letter (i.e. to verify your student’s status) OR A photo of the student identification card (front and back)
  • Any achievement(s) indicative of student’s interest and passion in Science & Mathematics

Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis. Successful applicants will be invited to proceed with official payment to secure their slot for the programme.

UNIQUE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAMME:

CERTIFICATION

A certificate of completion will be provided to participants who have fulfilled the following requirements:

  • Attended at least 85% of the science immersion programme
  • Completed “Science Challenge” with a minimum passing grade
  • Completed post-programme evaluation form

Certificate of completion would be issued via digital credential platform.

LOCATION

Lessons will be conducted at NUS Main Campus.

PARTICIPATION FEES

The participation fee is as follows:

  • Academic programme fee (NUS workshops and lectures): S$1300.00
  • Room, Board and Tour / Transportation charges: Estimated S$1550.00
    This estimated cost should cover 5-night hotel stay on a twin or triple sharing basis, 14 meals, arrival / departure transfers in Singapore, 2 tour excursions outside the classroom, and transportation to and from campus as per schedule.

Airfare, Visa fees, health/travel insurance and personal expenses are NOT included in the fee.

PAYMENT PROCESS

Successful applicants will receive an email from sdlvisit@nus.edu.sg to proceed with the official registration and payment. 

All stated fees are inclusive of 9% Goods and Service Tax (GST), where applicable.

Digital receipt would be issued for each payment.

There will be no refunds provided for any cancellations initiated by the participants.
