NUS Faculty Scholarship recipient
The scholarship afforded Samantha the luxury of experiences she would not otherwise have had. This included diving lessons to become a certified diver, which opened her eyes to a new and exciting world and led her to undertake an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme in Science (UROPS) project on rearing corals. The scholarship also contributed to the path Samantha has taken as a researcher in marine conservation, by enabling meaningful interactions with world-class researchers.
