Student Life

Our students lead an active and vibrant student life via a myriad of activities organised by the National University of Singapore Pharmaceutical Society (NUSPS). Through the house system and activities organised in NUSPS, camaraderie, senior-junior bonding and lifelong friendships are forged. Having friends to work hard and have fun together with make the undergraduate experience extra special!

You can also participate in activities organised by other university clubs, societies and residential colleges to widen your social network beyond pharmacy.

Box Story

New bent-toed gecko species in Timor-Leste

“We have barely scratched the surface of Timor-Leste’s biodiversity. New discoveries can have profound impacts on conservation and policy-making.”

In August 2022, we led an expedition to Timor-Leste in collaboration with Conservation International and the government of Timor-Leste. The Museum’s herpetologist, Dr CHAN Kin Onn, discovered a new species of bent-toed gecko which was named Cyrtodactylus santana, in reference to the Nino Konis Santana National Park, in which the gecko was discovered.
