Science Summer Programme
Welcome to the Summer Programme at the Faculty of Science, NUS. The programme, administered by the Science Faculty, is aimed at providing our international students an exciting, fun yet academically challenging multi-disciplinary education with strong Asian focus. One of the highlights of the NUS Summer Programme includes a field trip to the luscious tropical island of Tioman in East Malaysia where you will not only get to study the island's biodiversity of flora & fauna but also savour resort style living at the Paya Beach Resort. Beyond studies, you will also participate in a cultural assimilation programme to further acquaint students with the Asian and Singaporean culture and way of life. Selected current undergraduate students from the Faculty of Science will also play hosts to you during your stay in Singapore. Invited speakers from the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences will also deliver a series of talks which will provide students a window to Singapore's unique multi-cultural and multi-religious landscape. The 2008 programme is open to students from the University of New South Wales, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo and University of California, Los Angeles, for which exchange agreements are in place. International students may apply for the programme by contacting the offices at their respective Home Universities.
