International students are required to apply for a Student's Pass if they are applying for full-time studies and a Social Visit Pass for a short or long term stay in Singapore at the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA). You can get the latest information on immigration clearance matters at the ICA website.

Residential Services (RS) supports students in finding accommodation and organises a wide variety of activities to make living at NUS an enriching and memorable experience.

International Student Services (ISS) offer assistance to international and exchange students during their studies and stay in Singapore. They provide services such as freshmen orientations, an international student guide available as PDF for download, a variety of cultural programmes and exit briefings for graduating students.
