Science Sports Games 2016

The Science Sports Games (SSG) organised by the NUS Students Science Club successfully ended on 30 January. The one-day event provides a unique opportunity for alumni, staff and students to interact through friendly matches. Despite the scorching sun, our students and alumni had an enjoyable day participating in various popular sports such as futsal, basketball, captain’s ball and dodgeball.

The Science Sports committee also invited our alumni from the basketball and football Inter-Faculty Games (IFG) teams to come back and play against the current IFG teams. To forge ties with our alumni, the Sports and Alumni Relations committees formed a team with the alumni to participate in the various games. This interaction created a strong sense of synergy between the committee members and alumni. The participants enjoyed the sports competition.

The committee is looking to strengthen the SSG in the future and to involve alumni from other Science sports teams.
