Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award (Full Time/Part Time) (TAA)
Selection Criteria 1. Candidates have to be nominated by their Lecturers/Professors. A write-up on his/her significant contributions in the past year(s) must be submitted to the Department Teaching Excellence Committee (DTEC) who in turn will review the nominees and select them based on 10% of the department's Teaching Assistant (Full-time/Part-Time) population.
2. Staff who have won the award in one year will not be eligible in the following year, unless he/she has demonstrated exceptional value-add and new efforts in the following year. He or she is eligible to compete on par with the other candidates after the "blank-off" year.
