We have won the first Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), and are well represented in the NRF Competitive Research Program (CRP) and NRF Fellowships. Our Principal Investigators have well-equipped research facilities and well-funded research programs. We have many talented graduate students from Asia and beyond joining FoS each year, since we are acknowledged as one of the top universities in Asia.

Dr Wang Jian joined the Department of Chemistry on 2 July 2009. He was formerly a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Scripps Research Institute, USA.
