In 2000, I began my career with 3M as a trainee new product development engineer at their corporate headquarters in St Paul, Minnesota, USA. Currently I hold the position of Technical Manager. I am responsible for a regional analytical laboratory and staff, with a mission to provide professional chemical analysis services for the various 3M businesses in the APAC region. Concurrently, I have technical leadership and project management responsibility for a cross functional project team to drive the transfer and implementation of a key adhesive technology into Singapore. Through these contributions, I have received a number of global corporate awards in areas of Technical Excellence, Innovation, Manufacturing and Quality.

My NUS Science degrees were the original springboard for my career. An education in Science is about acquiring a strong foundation in a discipline that will take your places. With the latest instrumentation and passionate staff, NUS provides a dynamic environment for world class research, and propelled me to develop my potential to the fullest whilst sharpening my overall thinking and analysis skills.
