LAM Pin Woon has had more than 20 years of experience in regional marketing,
sales, operations and business management. He is currently the Chief Executive
Officer of the Health Promotion Board, tasked with improving the health of four
million Singaporeans.
Prior to his appointment at Health Promotion Board, Mr LAM was the Chief
Executive Officer (South Asia) of Cerebos Pacific Limited. During his seven
years with Cerebos, he has achieved six consecutive years of growth for the
businesses under his leadership. He was a member of the Cerebos Pacific Limited
Group Executive Committee, the company's top management decision-making body.
Before joining Cerebos, Mr Lam was the Managing Director (Singapore, Malaysia,
Brunei & Export) for Quaker Oats Inc. Prior to that, Mr Lam worked in
F&N Coca-Cola Pte Ltd, holding various key positions, rising to Deputy
General Manager (Singapore, Brunei & Export).
Mr LAM was a member of the Board of Advisors of Kemin Industries (Asia) Pte Ltd,
a biotechnology company with headquarters in the United States, from 2003 to
2005. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy, National
University of Singapore.
Mr LAM graduated with a BSc Pharmacy (Honours) from the National University of
Singapore and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Georgia
State University in the United States.
