Outstanding Science Alumni Awards
Nomination Criteria
To recognise science alumni who are outstanding in at least one of the following or attain excellence in at least two of the following:
  • contribution/leadership in his/her profession, industry or discipline
  • service to the community or the nation
  • entrepreneurship
  • research
  • any other areas of human exdeavour deemed worthy
Any science alumnus/a of the National University of Singapore (including University of Malaya (Singapore), University of Singapore and Nanyang University) shall be eligible for this award.
Awards will be given annually, provided suitable candidates can be found.
All nominations will be reviewed by an Awards Committee appointed by the Dean and the decision of the Awards Committee is final.
The Award
  • A listing in the roll of honour on the Faculty's commemorative wall
  • An engraved plaque, wall-mounted at the respective department
  • A citation
  • A crystal trophy
